Development Project

Leah Gardens
Gloucestershire

Project Brief
Situated on the border of Gloucestershire, this development in Redmarley D’abitot brought together classic rural design with modern technologies and finishes.
The plot derived from the existing corner building ‘Hedgerows’, utilising its long linear garden space to house 3 detached executive dwellings.
Forest of Dean Council approved the scheme for 2x 4 Bed detached dwellings, 1x 3 Bed detached dwelling and a separate timber framed car port & parking area.
Matrix Developments enhanced the scheme through material selection and modern building methods, setting a high standard of living for a new rural housing site.
Timber SIP were craned into site and erected in a quick and efficient manner, drastically reducing waste and noise on site. These were then encapsulated with beautiful cedar cladding and rustic red bricks.
All properties are served by mains electricity and sewerage, with an Air Source Heat Pump as the primary heating method to serve the network of underfloor heating pipes & radiators.
